  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (avocado recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon gochugaru
  • 11.5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon black vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Diced scallions and chili crisp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, add oil. Once hot, sauté shallots and garlic for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in red chili flakes and gochugaru; sauté for another 30 seconds before removing from heat.
  4. Mix in soy sauces, black vinegar, and brown sugar until combined.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the pan and toss gently to coat with the sauce.
