  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (your favorite flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dollop jelly over it and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Add remaining batter on top and repeat the dolloping and swirling process with more jelly.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
