  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup crispy cooked Turkey Bacon, crumbled
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with diced onion until soft. Add minced garlic and sauté briefly. Stir in marinara sauce and crumbled Turkey Bacon; season and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Béchamel: Melt butter in a saucepan; whisk in flour for 1–2 minutes. Gradually add milk while stirring until thickened. Mix in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder; season.
  3. Assemble Lasagna: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, béchamel, mozzarella, and cheddar cheeses; repeat layers finishing with cheese on top.
  4. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
