Ingredients

  • Baguette
  • Olive oil
  • Baby Bella mushrooms
  • Garlic
  • Apple vinegar
  • Brie cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1 minute before adding sliced mushrooms. Cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add apple vinegar to the skillet and simmer until reduced by half.
  4. Top each toasted baguette slice with Brie cheese and spoon the mushroom mixture over it. Return to the oven and bake for another 3-5 minutes until Brie melts.
  5. Allow to cool slightly, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
