  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms; cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in fresh spinach until wilted; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in grated cheese and cream cheese until well combined.
  6. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into 24 squares.
  7. Place about a teaspoon of filling on each square; fold over and seal edges.
  8. Brush tops with beaten egg for shine.
  9. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow cooling for about 10 minutes before serving.
