  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 oz uncooked pasta (elbow macaroni or shells recommended)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts flat in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
  3. Pour chicken broth over the chicken until covered.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours until chicken shreds easily.
  5. Shred the chicken in the crockpot, then stir in cream cheese and Parmesan until melted.
  6. Add uncooked pasta and stir to combine; cover and cook on high for 30 to 45 minutes until pasta is al dente.
