  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for one minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir until slightly thickened.
  4. Slice the rested chicken into bite-sized pieces and return to the skillet with the drained pasta. Toss everything in the creamy sauce until well coated.
