  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Sautéed vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, or mushrooms) for added flavor and nutrition

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, then drain.
  2. Sauté the Chicken: Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add more Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika, then stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer gently.
  4. Combine: Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet with the drained pasta. Toss everything together until well-coated.
