  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by melting butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for about 5 minutes until apples soften. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth and add to the apples. Cook for another minute until thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Place a tablespoon of apple filling in the center of each biscuit, fold edges over the filling, and pinch tightly to seal.
  4. Dip each ball in melted butter then roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and serve warm.
